PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Celebrate Platter Co. ("Celebrate Platter Co.," "we," "us" or "our") is a family-owned catering and event business based in Redding, California, serving Shasta County and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request a quote, book an event, order a gift platter, rent our vintage horse trailer, or contact us, and how we use, share and protect it.

We offer event catering, charcuterie and grazing tables, dessert bars, dipped strawberry bars, gift and holiday platters, our Personal Chef Experience, event hosts, and rentals of our rustic horse trailer. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit information through our website.

- Trailer rental information: the renter's contact details, rental date, delivery location, signed rental agreement and waiver, and the certificate of insurance the renter provides.

- Billing information: your billing name and the amounts, deposits and balances on your account. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (see Payments below).

When you visit our website, our website platform and analytics tools may automatically collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, the site that referred you, and general location (city or region). Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

TEXT MESSAGES AND EMAIL

Text messages (SMS): If you check the text message consent box on our quote form or otherwise opt in, you agree to receive text messages from Celebrate Platter Co. at the number you provide. Messages may include quote follow-ups, booking confirmations, payment reminders, delivery and event-day updates, and, if you agree, occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information may be shared only with the service providers that help us deliver our text messages, and only for that purpose.

Email: We send emails about your quotes, bookings and payments. If you opt in to marketing emails, every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages we need to send about an active booking or order.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We share information only as needed to run our business and serve you:

- Service providers: Trusted companies that help us operate, under obligations to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us. These include our website, customer relationship management, scheduling, form, email and text messaging platform (GoHighLevel); our payment processor (Square); our email provider (Google); and website hosting and analytics providers.

- Event partners you approve: Venues, planners, rental companies or other vendors for your event, when you ask us to coordinate with them or it is needed to deliver your service.

- Gift recipients: Delivery details and your gift message are shared with the person receiving your platter.

- Event staff: Hosts and helpers working your event receive only the details needed to do their job, such as the address, timeline and allergy notes.

- Legal and safety: When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Celebrate Platter Co., our customers or others.

- Business transfer: If our business is sold, merged or reorganized, customer information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

COOKIES, ANALYTICS AND TRACKING

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember form entries, understand how visitors use the site, and measure how people find us. Analytics tools may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites.

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some parts of the site, such as forms, may not work properly without them.

Do Not Track: Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, so our website does not currently respond to them. If we use advertising or tracking that requires it in the future, we will honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out where required by law.

Links to other sites: Our website may link to social media, review sites or partner websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

PHOTOS OF OUR WORK

We love sharing our creations. We may photograph our grazing tables, dessert bars, platters, trailer setups and event displays for our website, blog, portfolio and social media.

We focus on the food and setup. We do not post photos in which guests or children can be identified without permission. If you would rather we not photograph your event, or you want a photo removed, contact us and we will honor your request.

If you tag us or send us photos, we may reshare them with credit unless you ask us not to.

PAYMENTS, DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY

Payments: Card payments for deposits, balances, late fees, rentals and orders are processed by our third-party payment processor. Your full card number is entered directly into the processor's secure system and is not stored by Celebrate Platter Co. We keep records of amounts paid, dates and remaining balances.

How long we keep information: We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:

- Inquiries that do not become bookings: up to 2 years, so we can follow up on future events, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

- Booking, invoice and payment records: as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, generally up to 7 years.

- Trailer rental agreements, waivers and insurance certificates: up to 4 years after the rental, or longer if needed for a claim.

- Allergy and dietary notes: kept with your booking so we can serve you safely at repeat events; deleted on request.

- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information.

Security: We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including password-protected accounts and secure, encrypted platforms, to protect your information. No website or online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by California law.

- Tell you what personal information we have about you.

- Correct information that is inaccurate.

We still honor the access, correction and deletion requests above for all customers. We do not sell or share personal information, and we use allergy and dietary details only to prepare your food.
